New Regional Sales Manager announced following promotion

The 1810 Company/SCHOCK UK is pleased to announce the promotion of Daniel Smith to his new Regional Sales Manager position. Dan has spent two successful years at the company operating as a Business Development Manager in the Yorkshire and East Midlands region before his recent promotion.

He will now be responsible for building and developing relationships with new and existing customers based in the North East region and parts of East Anglia, as well as in his previous area of Yorkshire and the East Midlands. Dan’s promotion comes as part of the Sales team restructure announced earlier this year, which saw the expansion of our Internal Sales Development Team (ISDT).

Dan commented: “I am looking forward to working as part of an innovative new version of a field sales team, which puts more emphasis on customer service and gives me more responsibility of the area.”

Dan joins Neil Cockcroft and John Himsworth to make up the team of three, covering all areas in England, Wales and Scotland. Each Regional Sales Manager now receives support from members of our ISDT, giving customers more points of contact and a more streamlined channel of communication.

“It will give us a more proactive approach to customer service and will enhance the customer experience by simply allowing for more staff per customer,” Dan added. “The ISDT will be office-based, so there will always be a point of contact available to assist customers regularly and as required.”
